Adult games temporary not searchable on itch

You may have already seen that, since today, all adult-themed games are not searchable anymore. Tags like "hentai" are entirely empty.
Itch says that this is a temporary situation while they review the guidelines for adult games, but it is unclear how long that will take . This is incorrect. Please inform your readers that itch has currently de-indexed adult games due to an issue that fans created about a specific game in this genre, that caused payment processors to withdraw their access for itch. That means ALL of itch game publishers would be immediately affected by this. This way, they can see what might be a good solution against this 'concern' of payment processors (who likely don't worry about onlyfans and pornhub that much when the money being raked in is big).

Absolutely. The problem here is phrasing in legal terms and negotiations. I hope they will find a way to appease the audience AND Visa?MC and whatnot, because I think it doesn't make sense to cut out what, 40% of your platform? (not income, but game availability).
For many game devs it isn't worth the hassle, as they make more money off Steam. Even Playstation store is now allowing any ffing small game where 'sex sells', so for itch to budge, is very unlikely.

It's crazy, technically they are more Shadow banned, rather than outright banned. I am still able to find and download this game, and other ones as well. Others have a notice on them that says they were banned and removed from the website.
