Content Info: This is the NSFW version of Snapshot containing sexual and explicit content. There is a separate SFW version on itch.io.
A 3D open world hentai RPG where you can explore a part of Tokyo and make secret upskirt pictures in order to earn cash for upgrades to your camera. Panty shots are not enough? Unlock special camera lenses that can take x-ray photos or even hypnotize people!
Story
This is a unique passion project about tosatsu (盗撮) in Japan: The practice of secretly taking upskirt photos.
Explore a 3D open-world suburb of Tokyo to look out for targets, complete your collection, sell your photos, buy upgrades and go on dates.
More hentai/sex features are unlocked as part of the story-quest and hypnosis lens.

When is the next free update expected?
I will likely have 1-2 more smaller content releases before bringing version 0.8 to itch. So there should still be something nice coming to itch before the end of May or very early June.
Could you try implementing that when moving the mouse curser doesn't lock?

Had touch guard activated but thought it's implemented in the game that when I move the character, I can't move the mouse cursor.
Buddy that's your laptop touchpad settings, it's something called Touch Guard on Dell

For now, the character is pretty average in that department. I could see myself adding an option for more main-character customization in the future, which can include a slider for that. But that's something I'd add after having implemented the main content in version 1.0
If you sell a pic to the Strange Guy, or a single pic to the Store Owner. The Picture count doesn't go down. If I take a pic it will correct itself. If I have 10 Pictures and sell 3. It will still say 10 Pictures. If I take a pic after that it will fix it and say I have 8 Pictures

I found a glitch. I had one star and a cop was coming around the corner at the same time I was getting into position to take a pic. I took the pic too early and got caught. As I was getting punched in the face the cop spotted me and ran over. But because I was in the middle of getting caught, the the 2 actions overlapped and with the cops words still on the screen I was able to walk away. I sold my pics and now the cops don't chase me. This is me taking a pic in the middle of a blue zone
After exiting the game and opening it again. They stop me again

i have so many unwanted pics that i cant add rare shots to my collection
Then why not just sell them?
You are not limited in your photo collection. There is a limited amount of unsold-photos that you can carry, but you can just sell them at the konbini store. Sold photos still stay as unlocked in your photo collection.
When looking at the Collected Photos, and you have one selected. It would be nice to have the next and previous arrows to scroll through them.
Also when you get caught/fail taking a picture, once you hit 4 stars. Instead of just more cops. I think it would be better if they started moving towards the player. Staying on their normal paths, but if your behind them they turn around. If you cross the street, they cross the next spot they would normal use. And on star 5 they just ignore there paths and move to the player. Some of them could start running
Assigning the different cameras to buttons would be helpful. Make it 1,2,3. Or maybe just Q and E, to just move to the next or last camera

I don’t have an ETA for 0.8 on itch yet. It will come once I’ve released 0.9 on Patreon, because I want Patreon to always be one major version ahead. However, I still release smaller updates and patches on between.
can you make a category for the shots
I'm not sure what shots you mean. The photos usually have their own category in the photo collection dialog.

Within the category Hypnosis there is Facial and Mouth Full. The Mouth Full don't sit next to each other. I'd like to see all the Mouth Fulls grouped together under Hypnosis. And all the Nude photos grouped together under the Pantie Shots Category. Maybe if they were organized by tags

No, the love hotel will be part of version 0.9 and comes first to Patreon.
What happened to android?
I’ve never made a dedicated APK for it but I recommended using the emulator “Winlator” to play the windows exe on Android. It works for me, but I’m no expert with this emulator and can’t provide help when it’s not working on someone’s device.
are all the voyeur pics in the free version?
Yes, the main difference to the Patreon version are currently all the hypnosis pictures and the mechanic around that.

The error says that the file "qthfqnejiXywnslx.enc" is completely missing from the StreamingAssets folger. This is the localization file. It looks like you might not have correctly extracted the game? Make sure to unzip the Snapshot! V0783.zip file into a folder and run the game from there.
I am seeing the file in the folder, so I would not know what the error is, because the file is there
Should I move to some other directory or do something more?
I'm not referring to the AppData where the player.log is stored, but the actual folder where you run the game. The error sugest that the .zip file is not correctly extracted. When you download the "Snapshot! V0783.zip" file from itch.io you need to fully extract it into any folder and run the game from there. You can't run it out of the compressed zip file.

where do i find the cats im stuck
In the current version here you can find the first three cats to unlock dating her. The others are added in a later dating-expansion update.

There are Patreon-exclusive versions linked on my Patreon page that supporters can download. It will automatically take over your savegame to the new version.

Not planned for now. You could play it via an emulator like Winlator, but a dedicated APK won’t come in the near future.

I understand your concern. That said, the game currently features 180 unlockable photos, with many more planned for the future. Creating that volume of content simply wouldn’t be feasible for a solo developer without the help of AI tools.
Without AI the game simply wouldn't exist. I've flagged the game as using AI for graphics, and everyone can decide whether or not the result aligns with their preferences.
I personally love this game for its open world setting, but I think a lot of players are (understandably) going to get turned off when they see stuff made by generative AI. So would it be possible for you, or someone else, to redraw at least some of the AI imagery with a regular paint program, using the original images as a direct reference?
This particular project relies on a very large quantity of images for the photos to collect. I paint or at least overpaint all of them to work, but it wouldn’t be possible without a trained GenAI model as a basis. The project is correctly flagged as using AI for some art in the itch backend.
any tips for getting better angles when taking photos for better money?
The angle you get is random, so it's more of a game of chance. However, it's worth bringing the requested photos to the blond host guy to get x3 the money. Also, once you've unlocked the X-Ray lens, you generally get photos that are worth much more money.
